school
Coming from high school to College is a huge transition that often times people over look. Before coming to Northwest I went to a small high school that graduated with about 200. Although Northwest is still a fairly small school, it still seemed so big when I first came here. I was always worried that I would not make it to class on time because I thought all my classes were so far away from each other. I would leave at least twenty minuets early for each class so that I would make sure to be on time. That only lasted for the first two weeks of school however, I began realizing that no one but me was getting to class ten to fifteen minuets early. Now that I know the campus really well I probably leave about ten minuets before class and get there with about fifteen minuets to spare. The campus really is not that big, but when I first got here I thought it was. That is part of the transitioning into college. It is just really hard to go from having classes all in the same building to having classes in differnt buildings that are sometimes spread out all over campus. It was deffinately a change for me, but I am glad it is not as bad as i expected.
